James Hackworthy

James Hackworthy is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in visual communication and production. Currently serving as Senior Director of Creative and Production at WebMD Ignite since April 2023, Hackworthy previously held the position of AVP Creative Director at Mercury Healthcare from January 2019 to April 2023 and Associate Creative Director of Production at Healthgrades from March 2012 to April 2023. Early career highlights include freelance work as an Art Director and a long tenure as Senior Art Director at Wood Communications Group, where expertise spanned animation, 3D modeling, corporate identity, and award-winning visual campaigns. Hackworthy holds a BA in Communications from Loras College and completed courses in computer graphic design and animation at the School of Communication Arts.
