Carsten Sjoerup

Carsten Sjoerup has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Carsten started their career as a CTO and Chief Software Architect at ITF A/S, where they led and integrated multiple software research and development units, implementing Agile and CMMI processes and inventing a Cloud-based SaaS delivery platform. Carsten then served as a CTO consultant at ZYB and IMT Labs during their start-up phases, overseeing software architecture, design, and management.

Carsten's next role was as Vice President of R&D at Group Business Software, where they focused on bringing cloud-based technology and offerings to the market, including private and public cloud options. Carsten also spearheaded the innovation and development of their PaaS and SaaS enablement and delivery platform.

Carsten then joined OnApp as their CTO, managing the entire product life cycle and playing a hands-on role in architecting and envisioning products. Carsten later became the CTO at Host Europe Group, overseeing technical operations, devops, development, research, and major unified agile platform initiatives.

Moving on, Carsten joined GoDaddy, first as the VP and CTO for EMEA and then as the CIO, leading cross-functional teams worldwide and effectively managing the company's infrastructure, technical operations, and IT service management. Carsten played a key role in developing a new hosting platform and successfully integrating acquired assets in the technical product domain.

More recently, Carsten served as the Executive Vice President at CentralNic PLC, initially as the Chief Technology and Product Officer and later assuming responsibility for profit and loss management of the Online division. Carsten orchestrated the enhancement of product and engineering workflows, implemented robust IT service management protocols, and strategically outsourced functions to optimize operations.

Currently, Carsten holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at WebPros.

Carsten Sjoerup attended AVT Business School from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration (CBA). Subsequently, they pursued studies in Software Engineering/Computer Science at Niels Brock and Roskilde Handelsskole. Specific degree completion dates and further details are not provided.
