Maria Ponce's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Maria started their career as an Account Management intern at The Vidal Partnership in 2009. Maria then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Penn State University from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined JPMorgan Chase as part of the Chase Leadership Development Program and later held positions as Vice President, Co-Brand, and Executive Director, Ink from Chase. From 2015 to 2021, Maria worked at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, where they held the positions of Head of Co-Brand & Partnerships and Managing Director, Head of Credit Card - U.S. Most recently, they have been working at Webster Bank since 2021, where they have held various Senior Managing Director roles in Credit Card Strategy, Head of Credit Card and Digital Banking Strategy, and Consumer Products and Digital Banking.
Maria Ponce obtained an MBA with a focus on Marketing & Strategic Leadership from Penn State University, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies in Political Science at Colgate University, receiving a BA degree from 2000 to 2004.
