Desmond Ngai

Desmond Ngai has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Desmond currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at WebTVAsia, where they focus on corporate ventures, strategic partnerships, M&A, and investments. Desmond also handles group corporate communications, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and creative strategy for theatrical features, streaming originals, and post-production.

Prior to their current role, Desmond held positions at Sunway University as an Honorary Industry Fellow and at Astro as a Senior Assistant Vice President of OTT. Desmond also has extensive experience at WebTVAsia, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances, responsible for driving partnerships and alliances on a global scale.
