Paul Schwartz

Paul Schwartz, CPA, has extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial systems management, primarily with WEC Energy Group since October 2016. Throughout a progressive career, Paul held roles including Manager, Lead Analyst, and Senior Analyst, along with experience as a Senior Risk and Controls Consultant. Prior to WEC Energy Group, Paul served as a Senior Internal Auditor at Johnson Controls, effectively evaluating processes and presenting audit findings to management. Experience at Deloitte encompassed roles from Audit Staff to Audit Senior, with responsibilities including audit planning, staff mentoring, and management reporting, notably during IPOs and public document issuances. Paul began the professional journey as an intern at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
