Jixuan Cai

Jixuan Cai is a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer at WeChat Pay, with a tenure starting in January 2019, where expertise in applying models and data mining pipelines has significantly contributed to various product areas, including marketing, anti-fraud, risk control, and compliance. Prior experience includes an internship at Tencent from December 2017 to December 2018, a position as a Visiting Scientist at WorldPop from July 2017 to November 2017, and a role as a Visiting Researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences from April 2016 to August 2016. Jixuan Cai holds both a Master's and a Ph.D. in Big Data, GIS, Trajectory, Urban Planning, and Migration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, completed between 2012 and 2019, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Beijing Normal University, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
