Martin Römer

Martin Reyes, PE, AICP is a seasoned transportation planner currently serving as Principal Transportation Planner for Government Affairs at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority since January 2024. Previously, Martin held the position of Principal Transportation Planner at the San Mateo County Transit District, where key projects included the 101 Corridor Connect multimodal corridor plan and the Regional Transit Connections grant program. Prior to that, Martin worked with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, first as Transportation Deputy and later as Assistant Director for Planning and Development, managing major transportation initiatives and acting as lead staff for LA Metro. Martin’s foundational roles included engineering and planning functions at the County of Los Angeles and various internships, bolstered by advanced degrees from UCLA and California State Universities, solidifying expertise in urban planning and civil engineering.
