Jennifer Hurst, WAS, ADS

Jennifer Hurst, WAS, ADS has been working in the accessibility services field since 2018. Jennifer is currently a Lead Accessibility Specialist at WeCo Accessibility Services, where they are responsible for website audits, WCAG UX testing and training, and consulting. Prior to this role, they were a 508 Document Remediation Specialist at Pearl Interactive Network Inc. from 2017. Jennifer began their career in 2008 as a Technical Writer I, Associate Technical Writer, and Engineering Administrator at FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics.

Jennifer Hurst has an educational background in computer science. Jennifer earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Sierra College in 2013. In 2021, they obtained two certifications from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP): Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) and Accessible Document Specialist (ADS).
