Maureen Pranghofer

Senior Client Relations Specialist at WeCo

Maureen Pranghofer has worked in various roles since 1977. Maureen began their career as a Music Therapist at LaSalle Convolescent in 1977. In 1980, they became a Student Coordinator at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, where they reviewed applications for incoming clients, interviewed clients to determine services needed, and recruited volunteers to assist clients. In 1986, Maureen began working as a Songwriter and Artist for Maureen's Musi. In 1994, they became the Owner and Braille Transcriptionist for BrailleIt, where they transcribed print documents into Braille for customers. Finally, in 2012, Maureen became a Senior Client Relations Specialist and Lead Certified Test Consultant for WeCo Accessibility Services, a user-experience testing firm that trains people who live with disabilities to test electronic venues for access in accordance with the Section 508 and Americans with Disabilities Act legislation and WCAG web standards.

Maureen Pranghofer received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from College of St. Theresa in 1977, majoring in Music Therapy/Therapist. Maureen then attended University of Minnesota, where they obtained their Masters of Social Work in 1993, specializing in Social Work.
