Whitney Keefner, MS, LPC, NCC, is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Wedge Recovery Centers since March 2021, and as a Psychotherapist in private practice with Nickischer & Associates, LLC, since May 2022, Whitney specializes in individual, group, and family counseling while assisting in psychiatric assessments. Previous roles include Family & Community Based Services Clinician at Howard Center, School Counseling Internships, Youth Engagement Coordinator at Winooski Partnership for Prevention, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Vermont, focusing on restorative practices in schools. Whitney holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the same institution.
