Matt Pelletier

Matt Pelletier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Wedgewood Pharmacy since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at Blue Rabbit Veterinary starting from October 2021.

From September 2020 to October 2021, Matt worked as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Covetrus. Before that, they served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Covetrus from February 2019 to September 2020.

In their earlier roles, Matt worked at Vets First Choice as the Director of Engineering from November 2014 to February 2019. Matt also served as the Software Development Manager from December 2011 to November 2014 and as the Principal Application Developer from December 2010 to December 2011.

Prior to Vets First Choice, Matt worked as a Senior Application Developer at IDEXX Laboratories from December 2006 to December 2010. Matt started their career at Liberty Mutual Group as a Software Engineer from May 2005 to December 2006.

Before transitioning into the software industry, Matt gained experience as a Test Developer at StayinFront from August 2004 to May 2005. Matt also worked as a Java Developer/Intern at National Semiconductor from May 2003 to August 2004.

In addition to their professional experience, Matt has served in the Maine Army National Guard as a Soldier in Mountaineering from August 2000 to August 2004. Matt also served as a Paratrooper in the US Army from August 1996 to August 2000.

Matt Pelletier attended the University of Southern Maine from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Matt has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. In 2014, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification and the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certification. In 2015, they became an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® through the Project Management Institute. More recently, in 2020, they obtained the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification, the Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master certification, and the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification, all from Scaled Agile, Inc.
