Jessica Cook

Jessica Cook is a seasoned broadcast professional with extensive experience in news anchoring and multimedia journalism. Currently serving as the Morning News Anchor for Heart of Illinois ABC at WEEK TV since June 2015, Jessica launched the Heart of Illinois ABC in 2017 and anchors the morning show. Previous roles include weekend anchoring and multimedia journalism, where responsibilities ranged from producing and anchoring newscasts to engaging with audiences on social media. Jessica’s background also includes internships in video production and news reporting for various organizations, such as Fighting Illini Productions HD, Big Ten Network, and WICD Newschannel 1. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
