Geoff Catherwood

Geoff Catherwood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital and corporate governance. As a Partner at BDC since May 2001, Geoff has focused on advancing investments in technologies related to Energy, Electronics, Materials, and Cleantech. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including Weever, SparkCRM, ThinkData Works, RANOVUS Inc., and Librestream Technologies Inc., Geoff has demonstrated strong leadership abilities. Further contributions include past leadership roles at the Kiwanis Club of Vancouver and D-Wave Systems Inc. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University, a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, and a Directors Education Program certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
