David Nevin

North American VP Business Development at Weezmo

David Nevin has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David began their career as the Western Regional Manager at Image Systems Technology in 1989. David then worked as a Regional Manager at Softdesk, Inc. from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, they joined Autodesk as the Manager of GIS/LBS, where they stayed until 2003.

From 2003 to 2011, David served as the Executive Director of LBS at Tele Atlas (which was later acquired by TomTom). During this time, they played a key role in developing the Wireless, Internet, and Telecom (WIT) practice, overseeing teams managing major clients such as Cingular, Verizon, Google, and Microsoft. Additionally, they managed various application developers, contributing to the growth of the company's annual revenue to over $20 million.

In 2009, David joined Marin Mobile, Inc. as the VP of Business Development/Sales. David focused on early-stage software sales, commercial real estate asset management, and working with early-stage companies to develop go-to-market strategies and scale sales. David worked with clients such as Appsecuri, WOTE, VoidStacker, and Sparked.

In 2019, David became a Fractional VP Sales/BD at Martal Group, a role they held until 2020.

Their most recent position is as the North American VP Business Development at Weezmo Ltd. starting in 2021. Here, they help physical retailers bring e-commerce functionality to their businesses by using interactive e-receipts and AI-driven marketing offers. David has completed trials with major companies such as KFC, Guiness/Open Gate Brewery, and ACE Hardware, and established partnerships with resellers and referral agencies.
