Geteye Mekuria

Geteye Mekuria has a strong background in banking and risk management. They started their career at Wegagen Bank as the Head of Asset-Liability and Operational Risk Management Division. They then moved on to become the Director of Risk & Compliance Management at the same bank, where they worked from July 2018 to April 2022. Currently, Geteye Mekuria holds the position of Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Wegagen Bank, starting in April 2022.

Geteye Mekuria attended Addis Ababa University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, graduating with Distinction. Following this, they enrolled at Jimma University to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
