Khaled Moneir has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Khaled started their career as a Trainee at Radisson Blu Palais Hotel in Vienna in 2009. Khaled then interned at Helnan Palestine Hotel in 2011 and subsequently at Mobiserve Holding in 2012.
From 2011 to 2012, Khaled worked as the Opinions, Features, and Blogs Editor at The Insider. In 2013, they served as the Student Senate President at the German University in Cairo, taking responsibility for overseeing the Student Union and addressing student complaints.
In 2014, Khaled co-founded Bosla Consultancy, the first student-run management consultancy in Egypt and Africa. During their tenure, they conducted market research, feasibility studies, and supervised rebranding and partnership establishment for client businesses.
Khaled also had a brief internship experience at JW Marriott in 2014.
From 2015 to 2019, Khaled joined Amadeus, where they held the position of Sales Coordinator. In this role, they contracted with new travel agencies, maintained customer relationships, upsold Amadeus products, and managed mass-migration of customers to updated IT systems.
In 2017, Khaled was promoted to Business Development at Amadeus. Khaled led the restructuring of contracting management, mapped processes, eliminated inefficiencies, and restructured the training business unit, achieving a 100% sales increase in less than a year.
Currently, Khaled is working at Wego.com, starting as a Business Development Executive in 2019 and eventually transitioning to a Business Development Manager role in 2022. Their responsibilities include account management, revenue generation, and optimizing partner performance to maximize website revenue.
Khaled Moneir began their education journey by completing their International Baccalaureate Diploma at Danube International School Vienna from 2006 to 2010. Their primary subjects of study during this time were Business & Management HL, Geography HL, and English A1 HL.
Khaled then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Strategic Management at The German University in Cairo from 2011 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Khaled has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Khaled completed a Communication Skills course at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in December 2016. Khaled also obtained certification in Time and Stress Management from Dale Carnegie Egypt in November 2016. In October 2015, they completed a course on How to Negotiate at ATC - Export Development. Lastly, in August 2014, they successfully completed the Commands Basic Course at Amadeus IT Group.
