Michaël Schauwers

Michaël Schauwers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Web and Print Designer at POSITIEF-NEGATIEF bvba. In 2015, they were an intern at La Pallera Benetússer and NV TV Agentschap Guenter, where they gained experience in pre-press and print design. During their internship at TV Agentschap Guenter, they designed timetable templates for publications such as De Standaard, Metro Belgium, and Primo TV.

In 2018, Michaël joined JEF as an Experimental Installation Builder, creating a custom drumpad installation for the Youth Film Festival. Michaël also started working at WeGroup as a Front-End Developer, designing unique experiences and tools for customers in the digital insurance market. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of User Interface Engineer at WeGroup, and in 2021, they became a Digital Product Designer, researching the digital insurance market and developing solutions.

Additionally, Michaël has experience working as a Freelance Web Developer since 2019.

- From 2015 to 2020, they attended Devine - KASK Conservatorium HoGent Howest, earning a Bachelor's degree in Devine - Digital Design & Development.

- Their earlier education took place from 2006 to 2014 at Don Bosco Sint-Denijs-Westrem, where they focused on Grafisch ontwerp, commerciële kunst, en beeldvorming.
