Michael Jørgensen

Michael Jørgensen is a seasoned Senior FPGA Developer currently employed at Weibel Scientific since December 2022, with previous experience in the same role at Silicom Denmark A/S from October 2017 to December 2022, focusing on FPGA-based solutions for data centers. Michael has a strong background in education, having served as a Lektor in various capacities teaching mathematics, physics, and programming at high school level from 2009 to 2019. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Rovsing A/S, where Michael worked with FPGA and CPLD firmware as well as Linux software, and System Designer at Tpack A/S, along with several positions in system analysis and software engineering dating back to 2001. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from DTU and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from DTU, further complemented by international educational experiences.
