Eric-Jan Frijters

Eric-Jan Frijters has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. eric-jan started their career as a Project Manager R&D/Technical Sales Support at Zumro Rescue, where they were responsible for project management, industrialization, and technical sales. eric-jan then worked at the Royal Dutch Army for a brief period before joining Polynorm Plastics bv as a Technical Account Manager/Project Leader.

In 2001, Eric-Jan moved to PDE Automotive (part of Benteler) and held various roles including Project Manager for cockpit modules and Branch Manager for the NA Region. eric-jan later became the Business Unit Manager for PGN in Switzerland, where they successfully led operational reorganization and strategic realignment, resulting in 10% annual growth and meeting EBIT targets.

Following their tenure at PDE Automotive, Eric-Jan joined voestalpine Plastics Solutions as a Project Manager, Manager Projects, and Manager Engineering. During their time there, they managed engineering and projects for the company, demonstrating their strong leadership skills and ability to meet objectives.

In 2015, Eric-Jan joined WEIDPLAS GmbH as the Head of Advanced Development. In this role, they lead an international innovation team, supporting the strategic growth targets of the Techniplas Group. eric-jan focuses on creating strategic innovative technology building blocks in automotive and industrial applications, utilizing agile and lean principles.

Throughout their career, Eric-Jan has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive growth, implement strategic initiatives, and contribute to the success of the organizations they have worked with.

Eric-Jan Frijters attended Delft University of Technology from 1984 to 1991, where they obtained a degree of Ir. in Aerospace.
