Aaron Ramey

Aaron Ramey has extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving as General Manager and News Director at Weigel Broadcasting Co. since November 2010, where Ramey successfully managed the launch of the station's inaugural news operation. Prior roles include serving as a consultant for Young Broadcasting, News Director at WOAI-TV, Executive News Director at WHAS-TV, News Director at WATE-TV, and Assistant News Director at WFTV-TV, among other positions. Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Ramey has consistently driven viewer engagement and station performance through strategic planning, newsroom culture transformation, and leadership in news production. Ramey holds a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Notre Dame and a degree in Communications from Wright State University.
