Jon Badenell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jon started their career as a Lotus, Microsoft, and Novell Authorized Trainer, where they gained certification and taught training classes for various curriculum. Jon then worked at Lotus Consulting, where they designed and developed enterprise solutions for companies such as IBM and Talbot's.

Jon later became the President and Owner of their consulting company, New Day Software, providing integration and development services for internet, telecommunications, and software development companies. Jon also served as the Director of Operations at eMD.com, where they built the operations and development departments and managed site and network operations.

Jon's work experience also includes being the Vice President of Architecture at weather.com, where they were responsible for technology creation and integration for all online properties. Jon played a crucial role in keeping The Weather Channel at the cutting edge of internet technology.

Jon then joined Vertical Acuity as the Chief Architect, designing and building distributed applications using AWS. At TouchVision, they served as the Chief Technology Officer, where they built the technology organization from scratch and seamlessly distributed synchronized video and ads across multiple platforms.

Currently, Jon Badenell is the Head of Digital Technology at Weigel Broadcasting Co., responsible for all internet technology for Weigel properties, including several national digi-nets and local news site platforms. Jon has built in-house technologies that have reduced the company's dependence on third-party platforms. Throughout their career, Jon has showcased expertise in technology architecture, integration, and innovation.

Jon Badenell attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1993. Jon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
