Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes is an experienced data scientist currently working at Weightmans since April 2022. Previously, Paul served as Lead Data Scientist for the London Borough of Newham from May 2019 to April 2022, where Paul utilized data pipelines to enhance understanding of the local population and improve service delivery by 300%. Prior to this role, Paul held positions as Lead Consultant at ABB, focusing on power and automation solutions for data centers, and as Operations Project Manager at PZ Cussons, overseeing supply chain management and new product development. Early in Paul's career, Paul worked as a Project Engineer at Albright & Wilson and as a Technical Service Engineer at Flogas Ireland. Paul holds an MSc in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, and a Diploma in Economics from The Open University.
