Chris Cheong

Chris Cheong has a diverse work experience in legal operations, contracts management, and A&R administration in the music industry. Starting in 2010, Chris worked as a Recruitment and Training Intern at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. In 2011, they interned at Warner Bros. Records and Interscope Records in marketing roles. From 2012 to 2013, Chris was an Administrative Assistant at Clarity LLC, followed by an Office/Mailroom Assistant role at Creative Artists Agency in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Coordinator in Business Affairs at NBCUniversal, Inc. From 2015 to 2021, Chris held various roles within Sony Music Entertainment, including Coordinator, Analyst, and Manager in A&R Administration at RCA Records. These roles involved managing budgets, contracts, onboarding processes, and collaborating with internal teams. Most recently, Chris worked as a Contracts Manager at Dataiku from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Legal Operations Manager at Weights & Biases, starting in 2023.

Chris Cheong attended Boston University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication.
