Dmitry Duev

Dmitry Duev has worked in the tech industry since 2021 as a Software Engineer at Weights & Biases. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at Caltech from 2015-2021, where they led Applied ML in Astronomy and was a core contributor and Dev Lead for open-source science data platforms. Dmitry was also a Postdoctoral Scholar in Astronomy at Caltech from 2015-2021, where they delivered novel science data processing pipelines and platform for Robo-AO. From 2011-2015, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher, Support Scientist, and Visiting Researcher at the Joint Institute for VLBI ERIC.

Dmitry Duev received a Ph.D. in Astronomy from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2012, and a Master's degree in Physics and Astronomy from the same university in 2010.
