Amanda Pooler

Amanda Pooler is a Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where since October 2013, representation of public companies and their directors in shareholder fiduciary duty and securities litigation has been a primary focus, alongside providing counsel on corporate governance and business matters. Prior to this role, Amanda served as a Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law, co-teaching a course on M&A Litigation in Practice, and was a Law Clerk at the Delaware Court of Chancery, where research and drafting of legal memoranda and opinions on corporate law were key responsibilities. Amanda earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Duke University School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, in English from Hamilton College, supplemented by educational experiences at the University of Cambridge and Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.
