Rachel Alpert

Rachel Alpert is an Associate in the Public Company Advisory Group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where employment commenced in October 2021. Previously, Rachel gained editorial experience as an Associate Editor and Staff Editor for the Cardozo Law Review during Volume 41 from June 2019 to June 2021. Rachel completed a Juris Doctor degree at Cardozo School of Law while serving as a Teaching Assistant for Contracts and participating in the Special Education Law and Advocacy Field Clinic. Prior experience includes roles as a Summer Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and internships with Advocates for Children of New York and the Law Offices of Regina Skyer and Associates. Rachel also served as Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher at the Stephen Gaynor School and For Kids Only, respectively, before pursuing a career in law. Educational credentials include a JD from Cardozo School of Law, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
