Philipp Bleckmann

Philipp Bleckmann currently serves as Menschenrechtsbeauftragter at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) since July 2023. Prior roles include Referent für nachhaltige Lieferketten at Volkswagen AG from February 2019 to July 2023, and Manager for "Human Rights and Business" at Deutsches Global Compact Netzwerk from December 2014 to December 2018. Philipp also worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a Fachplaner and Junior Fachplaner from January 2011 to December 2014. Educational qualifications include a Magister degree in Sinology, Political Science, and Law from Freie Universität Berlin (2007-2010), as well as studies at the People's University of China (2006-2007) and the University of Münster (2003-2006).
