Micah Goldstein

Micah is a Partner in the firm’s Municipal, Development and Land Use Planning Practice Group. His practice is focused on expropriation and planning law.

Micah has acted for municipal authorities and expropriated landowners throughout Ontario. He has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court, several Administrative Boards and Tribunals, and private arbitrators.

Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Micah worked as an associate at a boutique firm focusing primarily on expropriation law. He also gained extensive experience on litigation files at a full-service firm, appearing on motions, pre-trial conferences, small claims court trials, and Landlord and Tenant Board hearings.

Having fully funded his studies via scholarship, Micah earned his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where he competed as a member of the Laskin Administrative Law Moot team and co-authored, with two professors, a paper which was published in the Constitutional Forum. Prior to joining private practice, Micah articled with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General in the Civil Remedies for Illicit Activities Office.
