Richard Arezes

Richard Arezes focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, including the acquisition, sale and financing of land.

Richard has acted for many different clients (including lenders, private corporations and publicly traded corporations) on a multitude of complex loan transactions including the preparation and review of loan documents, review and provision of due diligence and title documents, and the provision of opinions. Richard also has experience acting for clients on the acquisition, sale, financing and redevelopment of land.

After obtaining a Honours Bachelor of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2005, Richard earned his J.D. degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2009. Prior to joining WeirFoulds’ Commercial Leasing Practice Group, Richard was active in law school as a case worker for the Western Business Law Clinic where he provided information and services to small start-up and early stage businesses.
