Martin Gertler

Martin Gertler has a diverse work experience. Martin started their career as a Dual Student in R&D at Berkenhoff GmbH (bedra) in 2011 and worked there until 2016. Martin then joined the Schunk Group (Mobility) as a Referent der Geschäftsleitung and later took on the role of Referent Innovation, working until 2020. In 2020, they also worked at Evonik as a Consultant in Corporate/Strategy from November 2020 to May 2021. Currently, Martin is the Head of Sales at Weisstechnik, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Business Development Manager at the same company from October 2020 to September 2022.

Martin Gertler has a diverse education history. Martin started their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Industrial Engineering) from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in 2014. Martin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Prozessmanagment / Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Process Management / Industrial Engineering) from the same institution, which they completed in 2016.

In 2015 and 2016, Martin attended TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, where they focused on Industrial Engineering without earning a specific degree.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills in business administration, Martin pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from 2019 to 2021. During their MBA studies, they also engaged in an international module at BI Norwegian Business School, specializing in Leadership of Innovation & Change in 2021. Martin further broadened their expertise in the same field by attending an international module at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in the same year.

In addition to their formal education, Martin holds certifications in Chief Technology Management from RWTH Aachen Campus, a Diplôme d’Etudes en langue française B1 from Ministère de l'Education Nationale, and certifications in QMB and QMF from TÜV SÜD.
