Batya Bejar is an experienced educator and researcher in the fields of neuroscience and pharmacology. Currently serving as a Teacher and Educational Coordinator at the Weizmann Institute of Science since August 2021, Batya leads a high school class in the National Neuroscience Program in collaboration with the Davidson Institute of Science Education. Previous experience includes a role as an R&D Pharmacology Researcher at Teva Pharmaceuticals from July 2020 to August 2021, and an M.Sc. student at the Weizmann Institute, contributing to research in the Neurobiology of Stress. Additional roles include guiding and translating for international groups with Taglit-Birthright Israel and STARTil. Batya holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the Weizmann Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Tel Aviv University.
