Merav D. Shmueli

Merav D. Shmueli is an accomplished Assistant Staff Scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where responsibilities include building and integrating a mass-spectrometry facility and leading the mass spectrometry and biochemistry team. This role follows a distinguished postdoctoral research period focusing on post-translation modifications in cancer, during which Merav won the prestigious Marie Curie individual fellowship. Prior experience includes research on side effects of Alzheimer's Disease drugs at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases and extensive work at Tel Aviv University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Biotechnology.
