Sarah Kaufman Strauss

Sarah (Sharyn) Kaufman Strauss serves as the Chief Librarian at the Weizmann Institute of Science since October 2022, having previously held positions within the same institution as the Head of Public Services and Metadata Librarian from June 2017 to June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an executive assistant at Kalden International from December 2003 to May 2019, and as a Librarian - Information Specialist at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, also part of the Weizmann Institute, from October 2010 to May 2017. Educational credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science in Knowledge Management from Bar-Ilan University (2003-2006) and a Bachelor of Science in English Literature and Judaic Studies from the University at Albany (1990-1994), along with early education at Yeshivah of Flatbush High School (1986-1990).
