Dr. Diwakar Bhujel

Dr. Diwakar Bhujel has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering and electrical engineering. Dr. Diwakar currently works at WEL Networks as a Senior Network Engineer - SA since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at WEL Networks as a Network Engineer - System Architect from August 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining WEL Networks, Dr. Bhujel worked at Waipa Networks Limited as an Electrical Engineer from 2018 to August 2020. Dr. Diwakar gained valuable research experience during their time at Unison Networks Ltd, where they served as a Visiting Research Student from March 2014 to February 2017.

Dr. Bhujel started their professional career as a Faculty Member at Kathmandu University in 2004, where they worked until March 2014.

Dr. Diwakar Bhujel completed their education in a chronological order. Dr. Diwakar first attended St. Xavier's College, Maitighar from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Proficiency Certificate Level/Intermediate of Science degree in the field of Science. Dr. Diwakar then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 1999 to 2003. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Kathmandu University (KU) from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Power Engineering. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Canterbury from 2014 to 2017.
