Eric Tam

Eric Tam has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Eric currently works as a Primary Care Physician at WelbeHealth, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Editor In Chief at Mighty Health, a wellness app for people over the age of 50, focusing on coaching, nutrition, workouts, and health education. Eric started in October 2020 and their role is ongoing.

Eric also worked as a Hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente from October 2021 to October 2022, and as an Urgent Care Physician at UCLA Health during the same period. Previously, they served as a Resident Physician at the University of California, San Francisco from June 2018 to August 2021.

Eric also has experience as a Curriculum Consultant at Kaiser Permanente from August 2017 to August 2018, and as a Medical Student Tutor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA from May 2017 to June 2018.

In addition, they worked as a Project Director at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship from March 2014 to May 2016, and as a Staff Research Associate at Geschwind Neurogenetics Laboratory from May 2012 to May 2014.

Eric Tam has a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. Eric then pursued their medical education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where they obtained their Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree in the field of Medicine. Following their medical degree, Eric completed a Residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition to their educational background, they are also a Certified Buprenorphine Prescriber, accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Furthermore, Eric holds a license as a California Physician, granted by the Medical Board Of California.
