Mara Jaffa

Associate Vice President, HR Operations at WelbeHealth

Mara Jaffa's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Aflac. From 2007 to 2013, they held various roles at Blackboard, including Compensation & Benefits Analyst and International Human Resources Operations Specialist.

In 2013, Mara joined Evolent Health, where they worked for almost eight years. Mara served in different positions, starting as an HR Generalist and gradually progressing to Senior Director, Talent. At Evolent Health, they were responsible for managing employee benefits, HR operations, and onboarding processes. Mara also played a crucial role in acquisition integration activities. Additionally, they served as an HR Business Partner for the IT organization at Evolent Health.

Finally, in 2021, Mara became the Associate Vice President of HR Operations at WelbeHealth.

Mara Jaffa completed their education in a chronological order. Mara obtained a BA degree in Economics and Communication from the University of Maryland. Following that, they pursued an MBA & MA degree with a specialization in Human Resources from Marymount University. Additionally, Mara Jaffa obtained the certifications of SHRM-CP from SHRM in June 2015 and PHR from HRCI in May 2013.
