Sylvia Karl

Sylvia Karl has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sylvia began their career in 1994 at Southern California Presbyterian Homes, where they held various roles, including Resident Service Coordinator and Director of Social Services for Affordable Housing. In 2012, they joined Episcopal Senior Communities as the Sr. Director of Affordable Housing and later moved on to Episcopal Communities and Services as the Vice President of Affordable Housing. In 2016, Sylvia worked as a Resource Specialist at the University of Southern California - Davis School of Gerontology. Following this, they founded Karl Consulting in 2017 and assumed the role of Owner and President. Currently, Sylvia is employed at WelbeHealth as a Senior Outreach Specialist in Affordable Housing, a position they have held since May 2019. Their extensive experience and expertise in the field make their a valuable asset to any organization they work with.

Sylvia Karl attended Alhambra High School but did not receive a degree. Sylvia then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology at the University of Southern California from 1989 to 1992. Sylvia furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science in Gerontology from the same university from 1992 to 1994.
