Chase Martyn

Chase Martyn is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Welcome Homes since November 2022, Chase previously held the position of Director of Engineering and Product at Airtasker from June 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, Chase was the CTO and Head of Engineering at Zaarly, Inc. from September 2016 until its acquisition by Airtasker. Other notable roles include Owner of Progress Kitchen, Inc., Principal at Groundswell Public Strategies, and Special Projects Analyst at Obama for America, where software was developed to support the reelection campaign of the 44th President of the United States. Chase began the professional journey as a Software Engineer at Salsa Labs and also served as Managing Editor and Tech Director for The Iowa Independent / Center for Independent Media. Earlier in the career, Chase was involved in grassroots organizing for the Iowa Democratic Party. Chase holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Grinnell College.
