Aleksandra Tyler is a board member at Welcome House. Aleksandra previously worked as an office assistant at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, a graduate field placement student at Achievement Centers for Children, and the Greek Life Housing Director at Case Western Reserve University. Aleksandra also worked as an assistant to the executive director and executive assistant/program assistant at The Arc of Greater Cleveland. Additionally, they were a research intern at the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development at Case Western Reserve University. In this role, they co-led a team in survey research on eviction at the Justice Center in downtown Cleveland. The research was summarized in a report entitled "The Cleveland Eviction Study: Observations in Eviction Court and the Stories of People Facing Eviction". The report was used to bolster the argument for right to counsel in Cleveland.
Aleksandra Tyler has a Master of Science in Social Administration with a Concentration in Community Practice for Social Change from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at CWRU. Aleksandra also has a Master of Nonprofit Organizations from the same school. Aleksandra has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Work from Ohio University. Finally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Pace University.
