Desmond Campbell

Desmond Campbell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Welcome to Country, focusing on employment and economic development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities since October 2022. In addition, Desmond is a Volunteer Committee Member for Sydney WorldPride 2023 and has been involved in various roles such as a Board Member at Our Watch and First Nations Practice Lead at Social Ventures Australia. Previously, Desmond chaired the Northern Territory Government's Youth Minister's Youth Justice Advisory Committee, led projects at the Anti-Discrimination Commission Northern Territory, and managed family violence programs within the NT Department of Correctional Services. Educational qualifications include degrees in Community Management and Social Sciences from Macquarie University and Queensland University of Technology.
