Steve Peterson

Steve Peterson is an experienced writer and e-commerce specialist with a diverse background in journalism and communication. Currently serving as a Freelance Features Writer for River Valley Democrat-Gazette since November 2022, Peterson has contributed to various publications including Ozark Living magazine and Official Kids Mag magazine. Prior to this role, Peterson worked at Weldon, Williams & Lick, Inc. as an e-commerce specialist and engaged in freelance and contract work with several organizations including Branchout Studios and The Fort Report. A former Information and Assistance Specialist at EODD Area Agency on Aging, Peterson identified service providers for seniors and managed the agency's social media presence. Peterson's extensive experience also includes serving as Features Editor at Times Record and working as a reporter and assistant features editor at Morning News of Northwest Arkansas. Peterson holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Arkansas, earned between 1985 and 1990.
