Oleksii M. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 16 years. Oleksii is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Welkin Health, where they provide strategic leadership and oversees the engineering department to drive innovation and achieve business objectives. In their role, they are responsible for scaling the engineering team, attracting top talent, and fostering a high-performance culture. Oleksii also builds effective engineering processes and workflows to streamline development cycles and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Prior to their current position, Oleksii was the CTO at Playson, where they set up a new company culture and led a complete product and engineering department reboot. Oleksii was also involved in the comprehensive redesign and rewrite of the Playson Game Server (PGS).

Before their time at Playson, Oleksii held the position of System Architect and Head of Research And Development at the same company. In this role, they designed and developed a robust back-office system with advanced analytics capabilities and invoice support using ClickHouse and Node.js.

Oleksii also founded Theatre.love, a Ukrainian social project aimed at promoting theatrical art through various platforms. At Theatre.love, Oleksii was responsible for developing a play selection service, an informative theater resource, and a news platform, with the mission of making theaters more accessible and understandable for audiences.

Prior to that, Oleksii worked as a Feature Architect at StarOfService, where they redesigned and built a workflow mechanism based on AWS and performed software architecting for the system components and the entire infrastructure.

In 2013, Oleksii co-founded Mil's and served as the CTO. In this role, they established the business architecture, developed business processes, implemented a business model, and fostered a strong company culture. Earlier in their career, Oleksii worked as a System Developer at Mnemosoft, providing support and implementing new features for the Job Market platform. Oleksii also worked as a Web Developer at VDS Service, where they enhanced their e-commerce portal and developed and implemented a live synchronization feature between Bitrix CMS and the 1C system of business automation products.
