Elsa Friis, PhD MSGH, currently serves as the Head of Product & Clinical and Senior Director of Research and Development at Alongside since July 2022. In addition, Elsa is a member of the Women Entrepreneurs & Leaders Lab (WELL), an organization focused on empowering women healthcare professionals in digital health. Prior roles include serving as Director of Clinical Research at Little Otter and Clinical Associate at Duke University Health System. Elsa also has experience as a Health Service Psychology Intern at Emory University School of Medicine and as a Research Assistant at Duke University. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington and Lee University.
