Anne Marie Knott

Anne Marie Knott is a Professor at the Olin Business School at Washington University, where anne marie has been teaching strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship since July 2005, while also conducting significant research in these areas. Knott has received the "Olin Award for Research that Transforms Business" twice, in 2015 and 2019. In addition to academic responsibilities, Knott serves as the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board at Well Principled since January 2019 and was a contributor for Forbes from 2019 to 2022. Previously, Knott held the position of Assistant Professor of Management at The Wharton School from July 1995 to June 2004 and worked at Hughes Aircraft Company from September 1978 to September 1993, where roles included Program Manager on DARPA contracts and various engineering positions. Knott holds a PhD in Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management, alongside an MBA specializing in Operations and Marketing, and a BS in Math from the University of Utah.
