Peter Dougherty

Peter Dougherty is an experienced procurement and logistics professional with a comprehensive background spanning over three decades in various sectors, including consumer goods and oil and gas. Currently serving as the Global Logistics Procurement Director at Wella Company since April 2021, Peter manages a significant annual logistics spend of approximately €200 million. Previous roles include Senior Global Category Manager for Carlsberg Group and Interim Senior Procurement Manager for Mars, overseeing logistics strategies for substantial budgets. Peter’s extensive experience at BP involved leading a multinational procurement team and managing large-scale annual spends across multiple categories. Peter holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester and has progressed through roles in supply chain management, starting as a graduate trainee at Castrol.
