Shade Patterson, MBA, has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Starting in 1993, Patterson worked as a Systems Engineer at NSA for six years. Patterson then transitioned to Ciena in 2000, where they worked as a Product Marketing Manager for a short period.

In 2001, Patterson joined AT&T, where they held various positions over the course of 17 years. They started as a Senior Finance Manager and later became a Vendor Manager, responsible for managing professional service agreements and reducing the application portfolio. They also introduced streamlined engagement processes, resulting in significant savings. Additionally, Patterson created reports and dashboards to track expenses and guide decision-making.

During their tenure at AT&T, Patterson also served as a Chief of Staff for the Executive Director supporting Sales Solutions, where they organized critical information and led strategical planning efforts. They then became a Senior Account Manager, responsible for deploying an application to enhance customer experience and reduce transaction times in over 2,200 retail stores. Lastly, they served as a Principal Business Manager, overseeing a $55M marketing portfolio and leading merger integration efforts.

Outside of AT&T, Patterson served as a Board Member at the Center for Visually Impaired from 2002 to 2011.

Currently, Patterson works as a Project Management Lead at American Enterprise Group, Inc., starting in 2018.

Shade Patterson has completed an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from The George Washington University. Additionally, Shade Patterson holds a BEE in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
