Giulia De Mauro has a diverse work experience in the architecture, design, and business fields. In 2015, they worked as a lecturer at Manchester School of Architecture. In 2016, they worked as an architect and project coordinator at Powerhouse Company, followed by a similar role at MVRDV in 2015. In 2017, they worked as an architect and business development director for Europe at Ector Hoogstad Architecten BV. In 2018, they founded The IBD Company and The IBD Hub, which aim to innovate and modernize the architecture field through business development, marketing, and lean principles. GIULIA also hosts a podcast, "Innovating the Architecture and Real Estate's Old Fashioned Way." In 2019, they became Vice President of GBO Rotterdam, a global business owners network. In 2020, they became a founding expert at The Essential Workshops, offering online courses and training to enhance professionals' skills. Currently, they work as a digital business development expert at Prox, a professor of design communication and strategy at the IE School of Architecture and Design, and a business and marketing expert and instructor at iDeezign.

Giulia De Mauro's education history starts with their completion of a Bac OIB degree in Economics from Lycee International St Germain en Laye in 2008. GIULIA then pursued higher education at the University of Nottingham, earning a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2012. Giulia furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Architecture degree from the same university in 2015. In 2019, they completed a program in Growth Hacking Expertise from Growth Tribe. Additionally, they completed various certifications in marketing and business-related topics from Growth Academy, Story & Brand, Brendon Buchard, and other institutions between 2018 and 2020. In 2018, they also obtained a BIM Management certification from Adobe.
