David Snyder

David Snyder, ASA, MAAA has a diverse background in actuarial work. David currently serves as the Head of Actuarial Services at WellBe Senior Medical, where they collaborate with Medicare plans to provide in-home services to highly acute patients with a high minimum loss ratio (MLR). This enables the delivery of superior care while reducing overall healthcare costs.

Prior to their current role, David spent eight years at Milliman as a Healthcare Consulting Senior Actuarial Manager. During their tenure, they focused on Medicaid and Medicare clients, specializing in setting managed care capitation rates for state Medicaid agencies. This experience honed their expertise in healthcare data analysis and complex actuarial modeling.

David also gained valuable experience through internships at Towers Watson and Principal Financial Group. At Towers Watson, they were a Pension Consulting Actuarial Intern responsible for calculating pension benefits, creating gain/loss spreadsheets, and presenting pension funding and accounting results. As a Life Insurance Actuarial Intern at Principal Financial Group, David organized life assumptions, tested projection runs, and presented interest rate analyses.
