Lauren Barker

Lauren Barker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Lauren started their career as a Registered Nurse at WellStar Health System in 2012 and worked there until 2016. After that, they joined CVS MinuteClinic as a Nurse Practitioner from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Lauren returned to WellStar Health System as a Family Nurse Practitioner and held that role until 2020. Lauren then joined WellBe Senior Medical in 2020 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and later became the Clinical Director, leading a team of Advanced Practice Providers. Lauren's work primarily focused on providing medical care to geriatric populations, with a special emphasis on value-based and home-based care models.

Lauren Barker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Kennesaw State University from 2008 to 2011. Lauren then pursued a Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgia State University from 2013 to 2016.
