Edmond Hakimi

Edmond Hakimi has several years of medical experience working in various roles and organizations. Edmond started as a Medical Resident at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in 2009-2012 and returned to the hospital in 2019-2020 for their Medical Residency. Between the two residencies, they worked at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research as an Addiction Medicine Internist in 2020-2021 and was later promoted to the position of Medical Director in July 2022. Hakimi also worked as an Addiction Medicine Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2021-2022 and was recently hired as a Faculty PT at the same hospital and as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, both commencing in September 2022.

Edmond Hakimi completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at St. John's University Jamaica New York in 2004. In 2005, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (D.O.) from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. From 2009 to 2012, Edmond completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and obtained their Internal Medicine degree. In 2019 and 2020, they continued their Internal Medicine Residency Program at the same hospital. Recently, from 2021 to 2022, Edmond pursued another program in Addiction Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School. Additionally, Edmond obtained a certification from the American Osteopathic Association's American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in September 2021.
